Squarespace does not know what Givebutter collected. SignUpGenius has never heard of Eventbrite. The CRM is a third copy of the same forty names. Staff retype. The mission waits. Givebutter, Neon, and Bloomerang still tell you to keep a separate website. Starboard is the website and the Office together.
The model
Signup creates your organization and turns on work that already exists. That is the whole trick.

Gifts, receipts, attendees, volunteer hours, board terms. The same records as the website. Not a second database. Not a CRM bolted to Squarespace.

How it works
The first site is a template, not a prompt. AI is optional later. A draft cannot collect gifts.
Name, nonprofit type, mission, city and state, phone, logo. That is the whole form.
Starter pages for the kind of nonprofit you are. Human services, arts, education, environment, faith, animals, health, youth, or a grantmaking foundation.
The first person to claim the site is Owner. Staff work in the Office from there.
Confirm the charity. Then the site can go public. Search engines stay off until that is true.
Stripe Connect. Gifts settle in your account. We do not hold the money. Receipts come from the same record as the donate button.
Events, volunteers, board, when you are ready. They are already in the product. We wire them. We do not generate them.
What comes with the product
Donate page, recurring gifts, funds, receipts, refunds, reports. The button on the site writes the gift record. There is no export step.
Public listing, detail pages, RSVP, paid tickets, a calendar view, and an ICS feed. Capacity and check-in live in the same record.
Signup, opportunities, shifts on the public calendar, roster, hours, and clearances.
A public board page and bios, plus members, terms, and documents in the Office.
Booking pages and calendar connect are in the product. The switch that turns the module on for an organization is still being wired.
Merchandise is a later integration with Shopify or Square. There is no fake checkout on this page and no native store in v1.
